Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of this website and any ticket you buy through it. By placing an order you accept them. They sit alongside the Distance Sales Agreement, which is the contract for the individual sale and which prevails over these terms wherever the two differ.
1. Who you are contracting with
The seller is KFT Turizm ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, whose registered details are on the Seller & Company Information page. This site is an independent booking platform. It is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the Topkapı Palace Museum, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern Museum or Dolmabahçe Palace, nor by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Presidency of Religious Affairs, the National Palaces Administration, the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality or the General Directorate of Foundations.
2. What a booking is
A booking is a reservation for admission to one museum on a date and, where the product is timed, in a chosen entry window — or, for a combo ticket, to each of the museums it covers within its validity period. It is confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation with a booking reference. Until payment completes, nothing is reserved.
A combo ticket is one product covering two or more of the museums. It is valid for the number of consecutive days stated on the product, counted from the start date you choose at booking, that day included. Within that period you may visit each museum it covers once, on a day that museum is open. Each museum keeps its own opening days and hours — Topkapı Palace is normally closed on Tuesdays and Dolmabahçe Palace on Mondays — and your visits have to be planned around them. The validity period does not give unlimited or repeat entry.
The entrance tickets are handed to you in person at our meeting point, whose address is given in our order confirmation. For a combo ticket, come before your first visit and you receive one ticket for each museum in your booking. The meeting time and directions are given in our order confirmation. There is no e-ticket, QR code or printable voucher: the confirmation email is a record of your booking, not an entrance ticket. Bring it with you, together with anything the product page lists under what to bring.
3. What is included
What each ticket includes and excludes is set out on its own product page and in your confirmation. Read it before booking: which sections of a museum a ticket covers differs from product to product. A ticket bought here removes the need to buy one at the museum’s own counter. It does not bypass the security screening, which each museum runs, is mandatory for everybody, and cannot be skipped.
4. Your obligations
- Give a correct email address and name at checkout. Your confirmation is sent to that address, and one sent to a mistyped address cannot be recovered by us.
- Be at the meeting point at the time stated in your confirmation, and arrive at each museum within its opening hours and, where the product is timed, within your entry window, allowing time for the security queue.
- Carry identification where a reduced or free admission is claimed — a child under seven is admitted free only on presentation of their passport.
- Follow each museum’s own rules of entry while inside — including Hagia Sophia’s dress code.
5. Prices and currency
Prices are shown in euro, inclusive of applicable taxes, and are charged in Turkish lira at the rate applied at the moment of sale. Prices can change at any time before an order is placed; the price shown at the moment you pay is the price of your booking.
6. Cancellation
Cancellation and refund terms are set out in full in the Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Things outside our control
Any museum covered by your booking may close a section, restrict access, or close entirely for restoration, state occasions, weather, security or public holidays, sometimes without warning. Where that prevents you from using a booking, the Cancellation & Refund Policy applies. We are not liable for travel, accommodation or other costs arranged around a visit.
8. Intellectual property
The text, photography and design of this site belong to us or are used with permission, and may not be copied or republished without written consent.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Turkish law. Consumer disputes may be brought before the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts described on the Contact page.
This English text is a translation provided for convenience. Where Turkish law governs the document, the Turkish version is the operative one. Questions about any of these documents can be sent to the address on the Contact page.
